Filters play such an important role in our lives. I never realized how many different kinds of filters there are until I looked them up on Wikipedia. Filters are critical components of both freshwater and marine aquaria. Filter paper is a semi permeable paper barrier placed perpendicular to a liquid or airflow. It is used to separate fine solids from liquids or air. Air filters remove pollen, mold, and bacteria from the air. And of course there are oil and water filters which remove contaminants from our car engines and from our water supply. On my computer I even have a spam filter. Filters are so helpful in making our lives better!

In the rain and the sun and the
shadow,
Out those whom you invite who
choose not to come,
In those who do come to be
joyful with you,
Out issues of wealth, fancy
furniture, décor
In pure hospitality and loving
connections
When used properly used, filters are good and make our lives better. Dwelling in a Sukkah is no different. We would be better human beings if we filter out issues of wealth, fancy furniture, and décor while filtering in pure hospitality and loving connections in our lives
